Harriett Rosser Wild, 81 of Athens, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Harriett was born August 8, 1944 in Athens, to Harry Rosser and Blanche Jordan Rosser who both preceded her in death.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Harriett was a faithful Christian friend to many and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She lived her life as a true southern lady. Both family and friends will deeply miss her.
Harriett loved flowers and plants. She was a certified Master Gardner, and served as past president of the Perry Florida Garden Club. She was also a gifted floral designer. For may years, she brought joy and comfort into many lives selecting flowers and creating beautiful, colorful arrangements. Her favorite color was pink.
Her husband of 31 years, Peter Wild, her children, Cameron Harrington and Kimberly Harrington, and a granddaughter Ashley Harrington, survive Harriett. A brother, Kenny Rosser, two nephews, Stephen Rosser and his children Connor, Maci and Emery, David Rosser and his children Brody and Kendall, a niece Laura Fuller and her daughter Cara, also survive her. Both she and Peter loved having their family visit with them.
Family Hospice’s skilled and loving caregivers were invaluable help to Harriett and Peter. The family is so thankful for their help.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 6, 2026 from the Galilee Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Matt Dibler of the Calvary Baptist Church and her brother Kenny Rosser officiating. The family will receive friends at the Graveside.
